Common Questions
How does the $15 credit work?
When a neighbor signs up using your code, $15 is added to your account as credit. It automatically applies to your next annual renewal. If you have more credit than your $75 renewal cost, the extra rolls forward to the following year.
Is there a limit to how many neighbors I can refer?
No limit on referrals. The only cap is on credit applied per renewal — your renewal can drop to $0, but no further. Extra credit rolls forward.
Can I get my credit as cash instead?
Customer referral credit is account credit only — it can’t be paid out as cash. (Cash referral payouts go only to our partner organizations like local schools and churches.)
What if my neighbor cancels right after signing up?
If a refund is processed within the first 30 days, the corresponding credit is reversed. After 30 days, your credit is locked in.
Does this work if I was referred by my church or school?
Yes. You can participate in the Neighbor Referral program even if you originally signed up through one of our partner organizations. Your original organization continues to receive their support — this is a separate program.
Where do I find my referral code?
Your code is shown above once you’re signed in. We also send it to you in your welcome email and remind you of it once a year.
Does the code expire?
Your referral code never expires while you’re an active customer. Each individual credit you earn is good for 12 months from the date of the referral.
